Ask before you add
Choose someone who is willing to be contacted and understands your plans. Agree on when to call you, when to try another contact and when the situation calls for emergency services.
Check the receiving path
In-app features need a compatible SafeMeet account and notification permissions. Some eligible features can use text messages or a web sharing link. Do not assume every feature works for someone without the app.
Keep the list current
Review your contacts after a new phone number or a change in a relationship. End shares and remove access that no longer makes sense. The people you choose should be able to help, not simply people in your address book.
