You can join the iPhone beta for free through TestFlight. The product includes a Free tier for basic safety sessions. Optional paid plans add capabilities; confirm the current offer inside the app.

Android is in development. A public Android release is not available yet. You can join the email waitlist on the download page.

Do not rely on offline alert delivery. New location updates, server actions and alert delivery depend on connectivity. SMS fallback also needs a working delivery path and an eligible plan.

No. Choose the safety and sharing features you want to use and review their settings. Background access may be needed for an active feature, but contact or Family membership alone does not authorize tracking.

In-app notifications and relationships require a compatible account and permissions. Eligible text or web-sharing features can work differently. Verify the receiving path with your chosen contact rather than assuming every feature works without the app.

Visibility depends on the sharing feature and access you grant. Review the people and links attached to each share. Family membership does not automatically grant location access.

Use the app’s active sharing or session controls to end a share. Review remaining friend-based shares too. Contact support if you believe someone has access they should not have.

A missed check-in can enter a grace and escalation process before selected contacts are alerted. The exact timing is shown by the relevant app feature. Delivery depends on permissions, connection and available notification channels.

No. SafeMeet is not an emergency dispatch service. In immediate danger, contact your local emergency services when safe to do so.

Recording is optional, depends on microphone permission and feature settings, and is not guaranteed for every emergency. Review the app settings and applicable consent rules before enabling it.

Review the recording controls in SafeMeet and microphone access in your phone settings. Disabling microphone access prevents microphone-dependent features from recording.

Active safety and sharing features may need background location. Review enabled features, active shares and iOS permission settings. Do not assume closing a screen ends every share.

A powered-off phone cannot send new updates. A contact may have older information, but you should never treat that as a current position or a guaranteed alert. Keep a backup communication plan.

Important prompts or alerts may not be visible. Check SafeMeet notification permissions, Focus settings and the permissions on your contact’s phone before relying on a session.

Elite adds capabilities such as SMS fallback and additional sharing and history tools. The pricing page summarizes the plan; the current in-app offer is the source for eligibility and exact terms.

Family shares Elite capabilities with an invited group of up to six people on one plan. Each member controls their sharing. Administration of membership is different from permission to see location.

No. Joining or paying for a Family plan does not by itself authorize location tracking. Review and choose your own sharing settings.

For Apple-billed subscriptions, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and SafeMeet. Follow Apple’s cancellation flow. Deleting your account does not replace subscription cancellation.

In SafeMeet, open Profile, Settings, then Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, email hello@safemeet.space from the address associated with your account. Do not send passwords or location-sharing links.

The existing SafeMeet privacy policy states how information is used and shared. Read the full policy for providers, retention and your rights; do not infer that safety data exists only on your phone.

Review the eligibility and age rules in the current Terms of Service before creating an account. Do not use the app to monitor a minor without appropriate consent and safeguards. Ask support about an unclear situation.

Do not assume fake-call behavior is available on every device or in every region. Device, operating-system and storefront restrictions can apply. Check what your installed build offers.

Try to reach the person through the agreed method. Check timestamps and context, and follow the plan you made together. If you believe there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for the app.
