A friend request, trusted-contact entry or Family subscription is not a universal location grant. Check the audience and active access for each sharing feature. Review links before sending them and revoke access you no longer want.
Permissions have a purpose
Location supports enabled safety and sharing tools. Background location can be needed while a session or journey is active. Notifications support prompts and alerts. Optional audio needs microphone permission. Review both app settings and your phone’s system controls.
Data can leave your device
SafeMeet uses server-side services and delivery providers for features such as sessions and notifications. Do not assume all records stay on your phone. This website makes no claim of end-to-end encryption, a third-party security certification or guaranteed delivery.
Keep access under review
End completed sessions, stop shares you no longer need and keep your contact list current. A shared link can be forwarded. Only send it to someone you intend to have access, and use the app’s revocation controls when needed.
Retention, providers and your rights
The existing Privacy Policy explains collection, uses, service providers and retention. Recording and session information are not described as always temporary. For access or deletion questions, email hello@safemeet.space from your account address.
Website privacy
The rebuilt marketing experience does not load advertising trackers. Optional campaign attribution remains controlled by the site’s cookie choices. The Android form sends the email you enter to SafeMeet and may use Cloudflare verification to prevent abuse.
