Feature

Give your trusted people a reason to act.

Use the app’s distress controls to notify selected contacts when you need their attention.

Prepare your contacts first

Ask people before adding them to your safety plan. Confirm how they will receive alerts and what they should do. Simply adding a number does not prove the person can receive or respond to a notification.

Alerts depend on the available channel

Push notifications require the receiving device to be reachable and correctly configured. Eligible paid plans add SMS fallback, but texts can also be delayed or fail. An alert attempt is not proof that somebody read it.

Emergency services are separate

SafeMeet does not automatically dispatch police, fire or ambulance services. If there is immediate danger and you can safely do so, call your local emergency number. Do not wait for an app response.

Start with a simple check-in.
