Choose the right sharing option
Location can be part of a safety session or a separate sharing feature. Review who is included, what is visible and how to end that share. A person’s presence in your contacts or Family plan is not permission to see your location.
A pin has a timestamp for a reason
GPS and network conditions affect both accuracy and freshness. A last-known position describes where a phone was when it last reported. It does not prove that the person is still there.
End access deliberately
Use the app’s sharing and session controls to stop access. Review your friends and active shares periodically. If you believe a link reached the wrong person, revoke it in the app and contact support.
