Set it up deliberately
Review the duress PIN setup and emergency configuration in the app. Keep your normal PIN and duress PIN private, and understand which action each one performs.
Know the outcome you are enabling
A discreet screen does not prove a signal reached a contact. The relevant session, server state, permissions and delivery channel still matter. Discuss an appropriate response plan with your trusted people.
Keep another way to get help
Do not test this feature against real emergency contacts just to explore the interface. If you need help understanding the settings, contact support without including either PIN.
