Check your battery and pick a route you are comfortable with. Tell your contact your expected arrival time. If using Follow Me Home, review its Beta status and location permissions.
During the journey
Keep a direct way to call or message. A map can become stale when signal drops. Your contact should look at timestamps rather than assume every pin is current.
At the door
Confirm arrival in the app and, where useful, message your contact directly. Close the journey or session so your plan has a clear ending.
